1. Payment Process/ Refund terms:
Payment Stages
Booking - 5% of project value or Rs 25,000 whichever is higher
Site measurements - 15000 INR
Order raising - 50% of project value less amount paid at Booking and Site Measurement stage
Installation - Remaining 50% of the project value
Convenience fees of 2% will apply for payments through Debit card and Credit card post booking stage payments. No convenience fee will apply on NEFT, RTGS and Cheque payments. Refunds are not applicable for booking, site measurements, order raising and Installation stage collected payments.
2. Tentative Project Timelines:
3-6 Weeks (Design phase) - 1-2 design revisions.
45-60 Days post order raising (only for the modular scope of work, in case of other services the timeline will be as per the scope of work)
3. Warranty Policy/ Terms and conditions:
100 Cubes offers upto 10 years warranty on modular products.
Plywood - 10 Years- Covers BWP Plywood, BWR Plywood and Commercial Plywood, HDHMR; Covers against de-lamination and edgeband peeling. Does NOT cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear; Only bends that are >3mm will be attended by 100 Cubes
Cabinet, Carcass 10 Years- Covers all other finishes and all other core materials (MDF, Particle Board); Covers against delamination and edgeband peeling.

Shutter -10 Years Covers all finishes and all core materials (BWP Plywood, BWR Plywood, Commercial Plywood, HDHMR, MDF, Particle Board, Armadio, Profi, Aluminium Shutter Frame; Covers against delamination and edgeband peeling.Does NOT cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear; Only bends that are >3mm will be attended by 100 Cubes.
Hardware, Accessory - Manufacturer’s Warranty - Rusting is NOT covered under warranty. Customers are advised to not use household cleaning agents, chemical sprays, etc; Does NOT cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear.
Appliances - Manufacturer’s Warranty
Labour, Cleaning Charges (for Chimney) will be charged extra.
Sink, Tap, Other Plumbing Installation - Manufacturer’s Warranty
No warranty for installation services and leakage post-handover.
Inspection to be done by customer during handover and issues, if any, will be rectified.
Switches, Lights, Other Electrical Installation -Manufacturer’s Warranty - Labour Charges of Rs. 500 will be charged for any replacement. Wiring inspection to be done by customer during handover and issues, if any, will be rectified.
Countertop - No Warranty- 1 Year Warranty for Silicone Sealants; Any leakage due to sealant in 1st year will be attended to by 100 Cubes; Granite and quartz are stones which are made of natural materials. They are susceptible to staining .
Gas Piping, Tiling, Other Civil Work (False Ceiling, Painting etc) - No Warranty; Inspection to be done by customer during handover and issues, if any, will be rectified
Mirror, Glass, Other Fragile Item; No Warranty
100 Cubes does not warrant against and is not responsible for: (a) any condition of the Product attributable to; or (b) any damage to Products caused by any of the following:
Wear and tear suffered through normal use (including scratches, dents and cuts) or damage caused by impacts or accidents or mishandling.
Rusting of channels, hinges and other metallic parts. These could be damaged due to household chemicals and sprays or due to humidity or moisture or leakage of water on the material, hence care to be taken while using such products around hardware and accessories.
Water leakage and seepage within the building structure and continuous dampness of the surface beyond:
(seventy two) hours for BWP grade plywood (IS710);
(forty eight) hours for BWR grade plywood (IS303); and
(twenty four) hours for exterior grade PB and HDHMR materials.
Degradation, discoloration, damage, fading, etc. in color, grain, or texture of natural wood materials, laminates and other materials due to exposure to intensive or excessive light, sunlight, moisture or heat or other environmental factors.
Use of inappropriate chemicals, detergents, abrasives or other inappropriate cleaning agents that can damage the wooden surface of the Products or rust accessories.
Mistreatment, negligent use, misuse, insufficient, or improper care (including but not limited to exposure to harsh weather conditions).
Alterations, modifications or use of products which are beyond or inconsistent with supplied Product instructions and / or not been authorized by 100 Cubes.
Damage or stains due to water leakage and/or seepage.
Damage caused by any force majeure event (such as flooding, hurricane, earthquake, lightning, etc.), environmental condition (such as air pollution, solvent exposure, mold, mildew etc.), or staining from foreign substances (such as dirt, grease, oils, sprays etc).
3. Delay Penalty:What is Delay Penalty?
Delay Penalty is a discount offered to customers when handovers are delayed for a period longer than 15 days after the confirmed move-in date*. This date is communicated in the Project Schedule after all the sales orders are raised.
How much is the penalty?
Penalty per day for every day, beyond 15 days after the committed move in date, is 0.1% of the total Project Value.
Effective from 1st June 2023, the amount of delay penalty to all customers shall be paid out only in the form of store credit. The same cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to any other individual or entity.
E.g., Move In Date - 1st June 2020. Project Value (net offer/ discount): INR 10,00,000/-. In this case, penalty of INR 1,000 (0.1% of INR 10,00,000/-) per day will be applicable in case of delay beyond June 16th 2020.
The maximum delay penalty payable cannot exceed 2% of the total project value.
*Move-in definition: A project is considered ready to move-in if the kitchen, living, bed and bathrooms are functional. In projects with minor snags (such as replacement of a part or whole of a functional unit, delayed supply of a free-standing unit/ product, snags in false ceiling/ finishing/ electrical works etc.), the home is still considered ready to move-in as long as the snags do not affect the functionality of the home.
Functional: The snags existing will not disallow a person from living in the premises
When is the Delay Penalty not applicable?
In case there are any design changes/ modifications after communication of date of move-in to the customer; this includes change in scope, addition of scope, reduction of scope, material changes, finish changes, aesthetic changes, functional changes, or any other changes that may result in a delay in the manufacturing, procurement or execution at site.
In cases where the project involves scope of work handled by the customer, then the duration of execution of the customer’s scope of work will be taken into consideration to estimate the move-in date. This duration will be calculated after understanding from the customer the total number of days they require to complete their scope of work. Should the delay stem from the customer’s scope of work overshooting the budgeted days, or, any changes in the schedule of the customer’s scope of work, move-in date will be re-estimated and any delay penalty will be computed from the revised date.
Delay in access to the site, which results in delay in execution by 100 Cubes scope of work.
Restricted access to the site, which results in delay in execution by 100 Cubes scope of work.
Unavailability of consistent, uninterrupted power or water supply to the site during the execution phase will result in Delay Penalty not being applicable.
In case of non-payment by the customer or partial payment or any delay in payments as per the payment milestones, 100 Cubes will not be held responsible for delays beyond the move-in date, and, hence, Delay Penalty will not be applicable.
Delay Penalty clause will not be applicable if there is any dependency on the customer to provide approvals from any local authority and they fail to do so prior to the start of project execution.
100 Cubes shall not be liable to pay Delay Penalty in case of any delay in production or delivery of products ordered from third party/marketplace brands (i.e. brands other than 100 Cubes).
Force Majeure, which includes, but is not restricted to:
Any act of god including natural disasters, floods, fire, earthquake, typhoon, cyclone or landslides.
War, riot, strike, lock-outs, hartal/bandh, accidents, power failure or shortage of fuel.
Any restrictions imposed by the central, state or local statutory/government authorities.
Any change in applicable law.
Any unforeseen supply shocks for raw materials and accessories.
Any unforeseen manpower supply shocks.
Any other unforeseen circumstances/causes beyond the reasonable control of 100 Cubes.
In case of Force Majeure, 100 Cubes will duly inform the customer of the delay arising out of Force Majeure within 72 hours from the occurrence of the Force Majeure event(s) or from the time 100 Cubes has become aware of the occurrence of such Force Majeure event(s), whichever is later.
